The Pope is the head of the Roman Catholic Church. Typically the Dope the Pope is an old man past normal retirement age. That means in most companies a man as old as the Pope would not be considered old and wise. He would be considered too old to do the job.

The popes and hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church are increasingly traditional and out of touch with the modern world. They don't try to reform, rather they blame the modern world for being out of touch with God.

It in no way surprises us that Pope Francis is a social conservative because Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI packed the college of cardinals with conservatives like themselves. The new pope won't halt the decline of the Roman Catholics in the developed world and won't halt the increasing alienation of those Roman Catholics who remain. ^[1]
