A Monk like a Nun is expected to live a live of total Celibacy and sexual frustration. Monks like nuns should allow the religious organisation they belong to exploit them.
Monks and sex[]
Historically some monks became neurotic struggling to suppress their sexual feelings. Others gave vent to their sexuality and became promiscuous. [1] As with priests some monks have committed sexual assaults against minors and this does not only apply in the Roman Catholic Church [2]
