Debate Standards
- It is most important that you should be polite when you are discussing contentious topics.
- As a general rule of thumb you should respond to what the person says and not to the person. In yet other words you are quite welcome to say "That idea is stupid, because ...." You should avoid saying "You are stupid." In other words, you should play the ball and not the man.
Failure to follow these standards may result in the Blocking policies being invoked.
