Empirical reality is reality that can be established through uses of the senses. This can include observing measuring instruments. Observation reality works better than making faith-based assumptions and insisting that these assumptions are true. Further, faith-based assumptions like Young Earth Creationism too frequently contradict what can be shown by observing reality.
