Aliens are entities that in theory dwell on other planets. Their existence hasn't been proven, but the existence of some form of alien life - intelligent or not - seems probable given the size of the universe.

Alien life forms, if they exist, are likely to be radically different from terrestrial forms as a consequence of differing ecologies and different evolutionary paths.

Some new religions claim that aliens with godlike power visited the earth and treat these supposed alien visitors similarly to the way other religions treat a supposed supernatural God or supposed gods. Raëlism is the best known belief system of this kind.
